John is a photographer by profession, explorer by nature and entrepreneur by accident. He is a sailor with over 7,000 miles under his belt and can often be found delivering a boat somewhere on the Pacific seaboard or tweaking the sails on his own sailboat, Halcyon, which he and his wife, Becca, use for their own adventures.

 

As a photographer, John enjoys discovering new angles, perspectives and methods for capturing a scene or subject. He believes that everything on our planet, no matter how small or mundane, has an interesting story to tell, and he enjoys finding and telling that story to others.
